is anyone else excited??

we have always split the holidays,

Thanksgiving is the craziest day for us.
We usually drive to greenwich CT for the first meal, at my aunts house. We stay there from 1pm til 4:30pm and have a nice dinner

Then we drive to FH's Moms house in Merrick they eat at 6:00pm and spend the rest of the day with them and have yet another dinner

One year we actually did breakfast with my mother
from 9am-11:30am then aunts in CT from 1-4:30pm then FH's Moms from 6pm-till the rest of the evening

Let me tell u its a lot of fun splitting it up like this its alot of driving but we get to see everyone, and we get to eat alot of free food!!!! Our families really appreciate us doing both every year

I find this funny cause me and FH were talking just last night of how we are going to split up the holidays after we are married. Right now we don't spend them together. At most FH will come over my mom's house at like midnight on christmas eve after he is done with his family (which is when we open presents) that's something I always look forward too!

Thanksgiving and Christmas day and New Years Day is spent apart but FH's family doesn't do anything on New Years Eve and my uncle always has a big party so I've got to spend the past few New Year's Eve's with him which I love!

Figuring out how we are going to split the holidays after we get married though gives me a headache just thinking about it!

I love the Holidays so I am always excited...I think these still feel normal, but the ones I'll get excited about will be the first ones when we live together!!! Cuase then things like Christmas we are waking up in our place and not in different homes and all that!!!!

As for New Years Eve....I guess you'll have to get a comfy spot next to some hot officer in times square!!!!

yes because i can't wait to add an engagement ornament to my tree (HAHAHHA)

No... because money is going to be tight!
