I'm normally not a weepy person. I don't cry at sad movies, I didn't cry when I tried on The Dress, I didn't even cry when fi proposed. But lately, since I'm getting really into wedding planning, I'm all overemotional! My little brother played me a song he thought would make a great song for our first dance and I cried. I heard fi's grandpa probably wouldn't be there and I cried. I'm sitting here looking for songs that I want played at the reception and I keep tearing up (nostalgia). Is this happening to everyone or am I just a freak?

Yes the same i am going to but i thought i was going crazy but since you are going though the same thing i know i am fine just try not to get stress are you won't enjoy your wedding day

Thanks, Leoane! I am a little stressed (because of bad planning on my part-- I didn't really start wedding planning until I had less than 5 months to go), but I am still enjoying it, too. It just feels like I have PMS all the time.

I get teary-eyed whenever I listen to wedding music too!
I get sooooo weepy - mostly around wedding music...but also whenever I watch wedding shows on tv and the bride kisses her father during the ceremony before he gives her away (ok, i'm getting teary-eyed just typing this) I'm going to be A MESS on my wedding day!!!!
And, for the record, I didn't cry when FH proposed, or when I found my dress either....

I think it's normal. At first I thought I was going out of my mind but after talking with other brides I realized this is just a very emotional and stressful time. I cry at the most ridiculous things!

OMG - I'm so happy that you posted this message because I was afraid I was the only one! With all the planning I think I'm getting more and more emotional - and I'm not getting married until 2005!
On Saturday I was telling my friend about the music I was thinking about for the video. We aren't using baby pictures - we're going to use dating pictures since we've been together for so long and I was thinking about using the 'Today I Met The Boy I'm Going To Marry' song. She asked me to sing it and I started crying!
I'm not usually one to cry but lately the waterworks just start flowing - I hope I can hold it together for the wedding!

yup, we're all in the same boat. The hormones and the wedding subject entirely has made me an emotional wreck! And I'm NOT a weepy type of girl whatsoever!!!
I also go between being nasty and moody to just weepy .. it even surprises me at the times it hits me!
And yes -- all those wedding shows on TLC, even the Perfect Proposal show, has me crying.. I just hope I pull it together by my wedding date, if not, I need really good waterproof mascara!!!!!

I think I'm fairly weepy to begin with, but I am defintely extra emotional with wedding stuff. Certain songs will make me cry in the car, especially when I hear Butterfly Kisses, which is why I won't use it. I have a feeling my makeup artist is going to have to stay all day to keep fixing my makeup! lol!

FH picks on me because wedding things on tv have been making me cry, But i didn't cry when he proposed. I just don't cry for happy things or in public (until now!).
I'm not a crier. I only cry when i get really mad or at something very sad (and not even all the time). Mom jokingly calls me a heartless b*tch! lol
But now my feelings get hurt more easily, thinking about the wedding makes me cry... feels like what one of you said... PMS 24/7!!!
