Is anyone else making sure they dont get their period on the big day??
Ok well I stopped taking BC over 6 months ago, but now with the wedding coming up in July I dont want to chance getting my period? I just got over it on Sunday. Should I call up the doctor right away? I used to take ortho-tricyclen lo. I would only want to be on it until JUly then stop. What are some of you ladies doing??

I am on BCP. I'm supposed to get it on the HM, ha no way that is happening. I am definitely making sure it doesnt happen.

I'm going to try to get on the pill ASAP, i'm irregular so I have to time it so that I start the pill at the right time to avoid it..

I already adjusted my pills so that I don't get my period. I was originally supposed to have it during my HM, that would not have been good!

I will just be ending mine on the day of my wedding.... is it safe to skip your period on purpose?

I will be skipping it that month! Instead of taking the sugar/placebo pills, I'll just start a new pack immediately. I've done it before and asked my gyno about it and he said it was fine!

I already knew I wasn't going to but I had to adjust my BC so I absolutely didn't get it on my HM!

I am supposed to have mine. I called my doc bc im on the patch and when i take it off to get my period, i was told to refill and put another one on right away!

im on yaz. so starting next month im taking it straight through into july so i will actually skip my period. or else i would get it the day before my wedding and i just cant have that

Last time I visited my GYN and told her I was getting married she specifically told me to skip my period now if I needed to avoid getting it on my HM. So if she says it is ok I think it is safe!

I did. it was fine. I just skipped the placebo pills and started the new pack.

Yikes!! I'm due about my wedding time too. Does anyone know if it is too late for me to start taking the pill now??

mine was supposed to start teh day after my wedding- which would have meant I'd be bloated and have a headache the day of and then I'd be on it for the begining of my honeymoon. So I went on the pill for 2 months and took the last pill last night. I figure skipping it once wont eb a big deal!

i am not sure what to do...i am supposed to get my period the day before my wedding. which i def dont want
but if i skip a period sometime over the summer i will get my period the week of my wedding and it will def be over before thur (the rehearsal dinner) which is great but FH comes home the week of the wedding which is Dec 20th. He prob comes home the 14th which I will have my period- and well 9 months without some love is hard and then to have my period on top of that... i think i might just skip it that month and get it wehn i get back from the HM.

you are supposed to start taking it the sunday after your period starts, some girls will be regular the 1st month and others take up to 6 to get in sync with the pills hormones, you need to talk to your doctor asap

Since your wedding is in July, the pill might not be the answer for you - Ask your doctor!!-

Im on BCP and actually skipped my inactive for three months to alter my period by three weeks. So now i will get it the week before the wedding and finish it the monday prior to the wedding so by saturday i will hopefully be de-bloated.
