Is anyone else or did anyone else have a problem with...
Their Bridesmaids? The wedding is sooo far away for me...and i think I made the mistake of asking my girls to be in the wedding party so early. One of my good friends who I have been friends with for years...is not talking to me because of the eparty. Now I feel like I really dont want her in the wedding anymore- but I would like to add more people...Is there a limit of time that I have to add people? Do you think that if I added people with like a year left to the wedding they will be offended? I dont knwo what to do and this is stressing me out (I know that it shouldnt because I have A LOT of time)

take some time to think about it but if friend is not talking to you not sure I would want her to be a part of the most special day of your life. You could always ask someone a little later on.

I asked my girls just about right after we got engaged-lets just say 2 were NOT even invited to the wedding...and if I could have 2 others would have been out too

I asked all BMs very soon after I got engaged. Thankfully, one is my sister and two are my cousins. The other two are close friends, and Im keeping my fingers crossed there wont be problems since she's my MOH.
Maybe you can wait a little while and see if your friend cools down? Its so awkward to tell girls you dont want them to be your BMs anymore. Maybe if you're lucky she'll volunteer herself out of the wedding party.

I asked my BP pretty much immediately... (May, when I got engaged in May) and from August onward really regretted not asking another friend. I felt it was too late, since she already knew I asked my bridal party. By February I decided that I would always regret not asking her and she still had just barely enough time to order a dress so I asked her 9 months after everyone else, and she was very excited and said 'yes' -- I am SO glad I did it, and just wish I had asked her earlier.
I admit it's harder to ask someone to leave... you are pretty much deciding to end a friendship. I would give that one a little more time to make sure you dont make any hasty decisions. If I had waited I might have made decisions differently but nothing was bad enough for me to kick people out at this point.

i asked my BP about a month after we got engaged - did not ask my MOH to be MOH until about a week ago - i have a few more GM to add to FHs party - and deciding about asking 2 step sisters to add BP - which i dont think is a big deal to do later as long as it is before the dresses are ordered...
