I ordered a new computer for school about a week ago. I got every single little itty bitty annoyng peripheral within a day or two. My computer was the last thing to ship and it shipped from SHanghai. NOW it's stuck in Illinois because theres some kind of customs delay. So close, yet so far. It's making me crazy!
What are you impatient about?

Sears..
I don't think you are impatient with them. In fact, I think you have shown amazing restraint in not hurting anyone connected with that store.

Re: Is anyone else really impatient?
I get very impatient when I am on time for an appointment or meeting and I am kept waiting for more than 5-10 minutes.

Sears..
I may go postal on the repair guy. I told DH not to leave me alone with them...can't be responsible for my actions at this point.
Any good criminal attorneys out there..I may need one this afternoon.

They 'fixed it' Saturday. It still doesn't work. They are coming today between 8 and 5 to fix it again.

They don't care. When I called corporate and asked to speak with their manager they told me that I was at the highest escalation point. Then I asked for names and they wouldn't give me any last names.
When I have my lawyer subpeona them, then maybe I will get last names.

If it's not fixed after today I thin its time for you to bring it up another escalation point for them. I mena if it's still not fixed after all this time they should just give you a new one.

Re: Is anyone else really impatient?
According to my warranty, that's what will happen. Also, when the repair dude came Saturday, he fixed the thermostat and the seal around the door. He only wrote in the record that he repaired the seal which would mean he didn't do any warranty work. That would mean that I would have to have it repaired again for the replacement part of the warranty to kick in. I just want it fixed but they fixed it last September after two times and it's the same problem. According to the warranty, having the tech try to fix it 4 times and can't means it's a lemon and I get a new fridge. They supposedly updated the record, but I don't trust them one bit.
We'll see. I wil definitley keep you updated. Thanks for the support.

Re: Is anyone else really impatient?
I am impatient with EVERYTHING. I honestly think I may have ADD cause I can't sit still and wait for anything!
Waiting on line to pay for stuff (especially if the salespeople are 'chatting' and ignoring me!). Grocery stores are the worst!
Waiting for appointments
Waiting for green lights especially at one of those lights where I tend to get stuck at more than once at a time!
Waiting for stuff I order to come in (I track it obsessively!)
Waiting for FH to get ready so we can go out (he really takes longer than me!)
Waiting to be seated at a restaurant, or for the waitress to bring over the check at the end of the meal, or for the food to come!
Finally, the worst of all - waiting at Great Adventure, etc. to go on the rollercoasters. It is pure torture

Suzanne-you would have killed the Sears people weeks ago...they don't know how lucky they are that your fridge is working...

so true there are certain things i have no patience for slow repair people - and fridge is pretty high on that list (for obvious food related reasons!) Also incompetent car mechanics - the worst!

Can I take you with me to Sears when I rip them a new one-literally?

Re: Is anyone else really impatient?
Suzanne that's exactly like me. I think I'd e a lot happier if I could just learn to be more patient. Like this computer thing I am tracking ti obsessively, to a ridiculous degree. Just send it already! Even if it's something I don't even want that much or need right away, I'm still obsessive about when it's coming!
