I think I'm coming with something. My throat is hurting and I can barely speak. I took nyquil last night but I still feel the same. I hate being sick. Sorry for the vent.

I've had a dry throat and stuffy nose all week. i think it's allergy related (even though i've never been diagnosed with allergies) ... i get it every year ... like I feel like I'm getting sick but it never amounts to move than a dry throat and stuffy nose when I wake up in the morning.

I had the same thing towards the end of my vacation and all last week... started as a really nasty sore throat, then I got really sick (congested, feverish, etc) and the most annoying caugh ever
My DH thought he was getting this on Sunday and starting taking 'Airborne' - they sell it over the counter at Duane Reade, etc. You're supposed to take it right when you get your first symptoms, and so far it looks like he's avoided getting any sicker

Hope you feel better, rest up. I know its a bad week for allergies. 2 of my kids went home today too with bad colds/fever.
