Tired of being broke?????
I swear it's like whatever extra money we have has gone to the wedding. We refuse to owe money when we come back from our honeymoon and are paying almost everything in cash. I am tired of working overtime (which thank goodness my FH says I really don't need to since his raise kicks in this month) and if I could quit my job right now, I would. I also live in the Bronx and none of my BMs drive so guess who has to take them.....That's nine girls times two fittings times $8.00 for toll....ugh - just had to vent.....

Im sick of being broke too! We are trying to pay cash as well..so we dont have much of a life anymore..I spend alot of tiem on here..atleast its fun. We need a vaction BAD!!!!

sme here....totally broke!!! I think we have to supplement with a loan and pay it off when his accident settlement comes in because I refuse to wait till the last minute for everything.....

We paid cash, and we are still broke. Now it's time to rebuild. The fun never ends.

We're just beginning to hunker down, we're putting our first deposit down tonight (on the reception), I already feel it! We're going to try to pay cash for everything too and do things as early as possible so we have a long time to pay everything off.

On our BIG day it will all have been worth it right??

yup, i keep trying to cut down on the spending whenever i can cause we are going to pay it all off by the wedding day. But i think it helps just thinking about the reason why were spending less... cause its going to help our wedding day

OMG...I am so tired of being broke too!!! Every time I turn around though there is another expense...money is just flying right out the window!!!

I believe it is all going to be worth it in the end...however, what end???? After the wedding comes the house hunting and then maybe some babies...it's never going to end

Im well past broke... I am a wreck. im trying to pay off stupid bills in order to save for the wedding. My birthday was last week and I refused to allow my FH to get me a thing. We bought a bottle of wine and rented a movie instead.

I know my wedding will make it worth it. Im great at budgeting..

Heck our wedding means he loses his car next year. His lease is up the same month of our wedding. We get married and he loses his car. hehe

Our current grocery budget is $50 a week for lunch & dinner stuff. $20 a week for gas. Im in super saving mode!!!! Still broke.

Same boat as you & alicia....trying to pay it all in cash. we are doing pretty well, but we have no FRIGGIN LIFE! It's ok, the HM will be that much more deserved!

I have to admit it does make me wince a little to know Im dropping $18,000 on a day and can't get my AC fixed in my car, buy a house or pay off nagging bills.



I keep saying its worth it it's worth it.

Hence, I can't have a bad wedding im paying too much for me NOT to have a good time!

Its so sick how we are saving so much money for one day. Danielle and I are saving, or trying to save. Thankgod I have a job on the weekend, or else I wouldnt be able to save that much from my weekly job. I run my own car detailing business out of my house, and that brings in really good money for me to put in savings. Since Saturday we have dropped over $3,000 and we dont have anything to show for it.....
