having really, really bad 'cold feet'???
Only 9 days left, and things just don't seem to be working out right. I don't know what to do.

Believe me I had hell planning and right up until about 10 minutes before the ceremony! But they ALWAYS work out!

Whats going on Tina? Are you nervous about things coming together? Or is it something else? (If you don't mind me asking....) I personally think some degree of 'cold feet' is normal. Marriage is a big comittment, I think it's okay to question it to some degree, as it's not something to take lightly. It's a huge event to plan too, so I think it's normal to be nervous about whether it will all come together or not, which, BTW, they say it always does! Have to talked to FH about this?

I don't know, FH and I BOTH just don't feel right.
Maybe because we were 'rushed' (his dad is sick) and because we are still living w/his parents... maybe he feels that way because he got laid off recently... I don't know what it is. I'm just really sad.

Tina - this is normal. My girlfriend cried her eyes out the night before her wedding and threatened to call it off. She is now married 5 years and is happy as anything.
Talk to FH and tell him what you're feeling. I can't imagine being 'rushed' b/c of a sick family member. I would imagine it is stressful and I commend the two of you for respecting his dad's wishes.

We talked about it for a while. I think for him, it is the finalness (is that even a word?) of being married. And I have been feeling lately like I am just not cut out for it. I seriously think if we didn't live at home it would be a lot different - his parents put a lot of stress on both of us.
We are both of the mind that we shouldn't waste all the $$$ just to make our parents happy for one day, so now I am afraid it will be called off before it even has a chance. Every day I go back and forth, one day everything is wonderful, the next I want to throw the favors out the window.

I dont have anyone around that I can talk to in person (which is why I'm lurking here, I need to keep myself occupied) and I wouldn't DARE mention this to FMIL or FSIL (trust me, they are both out of their minds and would just make me more miserable)
I am also overworked and I started the patch (3 days without cigarettes!!!! at least something is going good)
I WANT to get married - I love FH!! I am just getting this feeling from him, I can actually sense his uncomfortableness

i'm sure you're both very nervous. and i think it might be a little strange if you weren't at all nervous! this is a huge change for you both! good luck to you!!!

I think it's totally normal for you to be feeling overwhelmed and nervous right now. Forget eveything but HIM right now. Imagine you are in his arms and everything else is nonexistent. Focus on your love and hopefully that will feel right.

I just feel like it is getting worse every day, and I don't want my parents to waste any more $$$$$ or make the whole trip here from FL if it isn't going to work out I don't want to decide the day before or something that we're going to call it off.
