Is anyone else totally not into wedding planning at the moment?
I think with the heat and the reality of the cost, its got me all bummed out.

everything is pretty much booked so right now im just enjoying the summer and not thinking about wedding planning..... so i guess im guilty! haha

I was actually considering cancelling and going for a DW and I don't think it was the heat it was the reality of the cost for ONE DAY..but I'm back

Now that the e-party is over im going to take a break for a while. I have my dress my hall my church my photographer and video.. maybe we will eventually start looking into limos after we get back from vacation... thats what im looking foward to now..Vacation!!!

I hear ya Giselle!!
I have my photog, dj, church, and reception. Most important really. Right now with soo many of my friends weddings happening and investing so much in their weddings, I have not been able to really think of mine!!

Me. I think it's because I have almost everything booked already. Limos are about all I have left except for who will be doing my makeup. I want to save some things for the beginning of next year.

I am hating planning right now.. BUT.. I have to get on it, bc I still need to book photographers, videographer and limos...

I've not been into the planning so much also. I just have too much going on, and I try not to even think about the money. I keep asing myself where is the fun in all this. I think I'll go to some expos this week.

me!!!...although we are meeting with royalty limos today...I was putting off limos for awhile....I'm just taking a break from planning...I'm hoping we like royalty and book them on the spot.

yea i havent done much of anything wedding related in a while. i have been too preoccupied with graduating and now my summer teaching job and job in sept.

I haven't done any wedding planning in about 2 mths and won't until Feb. 2007. Fh and I just bought a new house so we are in house mode now opposed to wedding mode. I made sure all my wedding vendors were booked before we closed on the house.

We're concentrating more on a house now so I haven't done anything wedding related in awhile. I'm going to start looking for a dress next month though.

I know exactly how you feel Eliana!
I think it is the cost that has got me down bc all of my $$$ has been going towards the wedding. FH & I don't go out nearly as much as we used to bc we are trying to save $$$. I have to leave a deposit for my gown on Thursday and then we have another hall payment due on Saturday

Eli you are definately reading my thoughs. But it's not so much of the heat, I can handle that it's just the cost of things, and I'm not even spending that much. The JP, and a nice simply dinner w/ close friends, and family heas crossed my mind a bit too much these days. I just don't want to lose out on everything I've already invested in

i have taken a break, I think it's normal to feel as though you need to slow down at times. We had our engagment party, booked our hall, photo, dj and I ordered my gown. The past month I have not done anything else and don't plan to for at least a few more weeks.
