Is anyone else worried about hurricanes?

Is anyone else worried about hurricanes?

FH and I just booked our HM in Jamaica. And even though it's not until November, I would hate to go to a resort that has sustained damage. We bought the extra insurance…. but I’m still concerned.

Hurricane Dennis looks like it’s going to cause some damage!

I'm not worried. FH thinks a hurricane would be cool. (not me) But I will be so happy to be on my honeymoon that I will take whatever we get. (we are also going to Jamaica)

MY FH is actually hoping we get hit by one on our honeymoon so we get another free vacation out of Sandals

When FH and I lived in Los Angeles, he would be pi$$ed when he was away and I felt a small earthquake...He thought the one major earthquake that we went through there was 'awesome'. Needless to say, I didn't agree and luckily no one was hurt. Typical guys...they want it to happen and we worry

MY DH wanted the same exact thing...unfortunately for him, the weather was perfect!

Don't stress about it. I am sure it won't be a problem. Hurricane season ends in September, early October

actually, it officially ends November 30th.

oh well, that's why we bought insurance. can't do a thing about mother nature.

I keep teasing that LI is going to get hit with a hurricane this year...on my wedding day.

I'm not really concerned about it except that several of my guests (including my mom) will be coming in from Florida. I just hope nothing happens that would prevent them for coming up for the wedding.

I'm not concerned honeymoon-wise because we aren't going on a trip until next year.

I am a bit worried we go on Honeymoon the end August at the Height of hurricane season to Cancun

My FH is concerned since we're going to St.John in October for our Honeymoon. We're taking a risk but I think we'll be fine.

I hate hurricanes...I have a real fear of them . I hope that none hit Long Island this year...we picked Aruba because I didn't even want to worry about, so I can definately understany your worry...Insurance is a good idea.
