Is anyone else's FH/DH Dillusional?

Took my Answer from NWB and made it a topic here:



My DH said 'I guess you hate doing dishes because I always do them' alright first of all your a dillusional person if you think that. And another thing have I seen you clean the toilet or vaccum alright thank you!

Mine is! BUT he cleans the toilet. I do the dishes.

He cleans the bathroom better than I can. I do everything else

LOL I am weird because I would like to see him do it but I would redo it after because I know I do it right the dishes are w.e.

I can't complain. My FH cooks and cleans. Plus he looks good while doing it all. If anything I'm the spoiled delusional one in the relationship.

I can't complain - FH is the cleaner in our house. Last night he told me I don't load the dishwasher the right way - I told him that's why I don't clean!

Our deal is I do dishes, dusting and mopping and dusting.

He vaccums deals with all the trash and clean the bathrooms.

Plus we split cooking duties.

I work harder then him right now since Iam working in school plus have the 2 kids. His job is really flexible and not a typical 9-5 so he has more down time then me.

I always said we both work we split chores.

i'd be more then happy to be a stay at home mom and clean

OMG!!! This is a daily conversation in our house whenever I try to load the dishwasher. I just got told earlier that 'you don't fill up the space well in the dishwasher' -- like really is it that important?! He's obsessed w/ the dishwasher, so 99% of the time I stay away with it because he doesn't like how I load it up. I had him clean the bathroom once, and I told him he's fired from that job moving forward

Oh I should mention, hubby in his vows said that he continues to promise to do laundry and Swiffering ---- so whenever he says anything about me not doing it, I tell him 'not my fault, you made a vow and I refuse to break it'

He does dishes and most of the laundry

I do bathroom and general kitchen, and general straightening up

My FH does cook a lot. & he does laundry. but he rarely cleans. ok, maybe sometimes he will help me with the cleaning. but he has yet to clean a toilet! he says he doesn't clean cause he does all the 'house work'.... meanwhile we bought our house last April & the Deck is still not done (finished being stained) and I helped with that....

FH cooks, I clean! And that is a-ok with me...I am OCD anyways and he won't do as good of a job as I do

Also, FH takes out the garbage and waters the plants and mows the lawn...and fixes anything in the house if it breaks...he is one of the most handy people I've ever met

Oh and I also fold his laundry and put it away because for some reason I like to....I like our clothes to have organization! But I let him actually do the laundry himself....for some reason we do our laundry seperately, even though we live together

Last night I went home washed the dishes clean the house and made him lunch for today just so he wouln't say anything LOL

He comments on my dish washing skills I mean I never ask him to do anything and nothing was ever said about chores so I shouldn't be complaining but SHOW SOME INITIATIVE! I think he's cleaned on his own 3 times!


I guess that's what you get for marrying someone who always had a cleaning lady
