No - everytime I got the flue shot, I came down with the flu.

Nope, I'm not getting one. I got it once and got sick. If I had kids or had to be around children / the elderly, then I'd probably get one. Everyone tells me I'm crazy not to get one... but I don't think it's a good idea for me now, seeing as I'm STILL working on getting better from being sick!
Needles don't bother me too much... When you go to get it, start saying the alphabet backwards. Hopefully, you'll be concentrating so hard on that, you won't notice the needle prick!

I'm low risk so I don't get it. I work from a home office (unfortunatly not my home) and don't come in contact with clients. Everyone else around me gets one so I don't. I figure there is someone out there that needs it more than me especially with the shortages each year.

I get it every year because I once got the flu for Christmas and had it straight through to New Years...UGH it was awful and I SWORE up and down I would never go thru that again!
Incidentally, they are giving the shot at the Smith Haven Mall...It's $30 but it is convenient and you don't have to go to your doctor at least.

yes, i am. i have a very poor immune system and find it helps me get through the winter (knock on wood). my company also provides them for staff and their spouses so it's convenient. flu shot day is on halloween this year...maybe they'll give us candy.

I work in the hospital and we are suppose to get them but my arm swells up. I luckily never get the flu.

I get one every year..I've never gotten the flu but DH has! I never want to feel that bad. I've had no adverse reactions

Yes I will be getting it...I work part-time at a hospital so I can get it really easily, so I figure why not- even though I HATE needles and how my arm aches afterwards!
