Is anyone getting married on a boat?

Or did you get married on a boat? Or have you been to a wedding on a boat?

If so, where did it leave fron, how many people did it hold, & in general , how was it?

I was in a wedding on a boat, but it was in California.

My friend is getting married on the World Yacht - Princess Boat. It leaves from Manhattan and goes around the island.

Nto sure how many people it holds but a lot I heard.

I worked for world yacht. They have changed their fleet but the 2 boats larger boats hold about 400 and 350 when totally full.

For a wedding, you would probably want more room - so about 300 and 250. You could go as low as 200 and 150 before the boats started to look too empty.

I did, quite a few years ago. We left from somewhere on the South Shore - Captree, maybe? I thought it was a blast and one of the most fun weddings I had been to at the time, but I love boats. If I had to guess, I would say about 100 -150 guests were on board.

The downside, and one of the bride's concerns, was guests that might get seasick, and if there was some emergency, they would have to dock the boat. They decided to do it anyway, and I think they were really happy they did.
