Re: Is anyone going to Cabo for their HM???
We're not going for our honeymoon, but my FH and I went last September (he won the trip by exceeding some quota at work) Anyway, it was all expenses paid so I'm not sure exactly what everything cost. . . however, it was spectacular! We stayed at the Fiesta Americana which was about 15 minutes or so from downtown Cabo. The hotel is absolutely stunning and worth whatever the price was. . . We did deep-sea fishing. . . I don't think I'll ever do it again but I enjoyed it at the time. . . it was just a bit distressing when you actually caught a fish. . . especially when my FH caught a 7 foot marlin (swordfish) and we couldn't throw it back. . . very sad The hotel cooked my mahi-mahi and it was out of this world. . . we went snorkling. . . but it was a bit too choppy because a hurricane was 100 miles out to sea. . . we went into Los Cabos and wandered around (great to experience more authentic mexican experience. . . we found a very cute little mom and pop kind of restaurant for lunch) We went into Cabo San Lucas and wandered around (great to party at night) If we had to do it again. . . I definately would have hung out at the pool or beach a bit more during the day (it was soooo hot. . . in the 90's but dry) and only gone into town during the evening/night. Oh, and don't be too concerned with the chicklet kids (kids who sell gum on the streets). . . I was at first. . .especially when I saw them at 11 pm or so. . . so I bought like 100 packs. . . but then I saw them around the corner with a man and woman handing out the gum. . .I guess it's just another way to make money for them. . . and always, always try to bargain with street vendors especially those with jewelry. . .act slightly interested but then hesitate and walk away. . .they'll come after you. . . not sure if my bracelet was really silver because the store vendors say the street vendors sell things which are not real. . .but I still love it. . . and make sure you bring home enough tequila and vanilla. . especially the tequila super cheap and you'll want to relive the moments with a few margaritas when you get home :) Enjoy! We loved it. . . and did not want to come home. . .

Re: Is anyone going to Cabo for their HM???
We're going October. We bought a timeshare last year and they threw in some bonus weeks this year to be used during 'off peak' times. I can't wait!
ETA: The best part is that it's not really 'off peak' in that part of Mexico but, for some reason they classified the whole country as 'off peak' for the end of the year.
