Can you give me some ideas as to what you are going to do, where you are staying and what the cost is? My Fh and I are trying to figure out what we want to do for our honeymoon. So far we have thought of Disney or Aruba. We only have a week to take the HM. Thanks for your help!

we went for a week and stayed at disney's boardwalk resort.
disney's site has a vacation planner to get an idea about prices for hotels & packages. I know there are dicounted rates somewhere online but I don't know what they are.

If you decide to go to Disney, try to make a visit to the Portofino Bay Hotel which is part of Universal. It's kind of expensive so you may not want to stay there, but it's like being in Italy. Take a look at their websitehttp://themeparks.universalstudios.com/orlando/website/resort_hotels/por_amenities.html We stayed there a few days in October & it's really beautiful. They have a boat that takes you through the lagoon to the theme parks & the other Universal hotels too.

Of course I'm going to Disney for My HM!!! It's been a thing between me and my FH. We are Disney Fanatics.. We have been there 4 times and on the cruise once. I would recommend either the Beach Club or Port Orleans French Quarter (very small resort, but romantic setting - you have to request a King sized bed room or you will only get one with 2 full size!). You may want to try the cruise too. If you have AAA they offer discounts for Disney.

I would DEFINITELY reccomend the Disney Cruise!!! They have special 'Land and Sea' packages where you can stay at the parks for either 3-4 days and then do either the 3 or 4 day cruise. You can mix and match. The cruise was just incredible. FH and I had the most amazing time. I reccomend it to everyone. IMO it is the perfect mix and might be PERFECT for you since your other choice is going to a Carribean island. It's the best of both worlds. The cruise stops at the Bahamas and Castaway Key, Disney's own private island. I can't rave enough about it!!

We went on a cruise for a week then a week at Disney. My DH really isn't a beach person so we tried to find a place that had the best of everything : ). Not to mention that my DH is a disney fanatic and has been there 15 times in the last 2 years and has an annual pass lol. We went on a Carnival Cruise and not Disney only because Disney has no casino and I love to gamble : ).
We stayed in the Polynesian Conciege and it was absolutely beautfiul. Really you can not go wrong with any Disney Hotel but my favorites for couples are the Poly, Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter or the Boardwalk if you wanted to be closer to a little night life.

We are on a tight schedule b/c FH is on break between his spring and summer semester for the wedding. So we couldn't do a longer trip (we wanted to go to tahiti b.c it was one of the few places I haven't been) so we compromised and are doing two honeymoons.
We are going to disney for a few days right after the wedding - then doing a cruise in August as the main part.
We are staying in Concierge at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We have stayed there before and loved it - I honestly like it much better than the grand floridian, or some of the others b/c I feel that I can stay someone similar elsewhere in the US whereas - where in the US can you stay and have animals grazing only a few feet from your balcony.
Disney is great for honeymoons! If you go, make sure you get the bride and groom mouse ears and wear them everywhere. You get extra special service!!!
FYI - I was looking at your wedding date...just be careful if you will be there during Thanksgiving...it gets very crowded.
Someone else already mentioned the best site...Disboards...these people have the best advice. Definitely check there.

We are going to Disney!! I know there are discount rates for Nov-but not sure if that applies around Thanksgiving-might be black out period--anyway,we might stay @ the Carribbean Beach or one of the new All Star Resorts--or might spring for it all & stay @ the Boardwalk. The polyanesan (sp?) is great and so is port orleans. We are going to try and go for more than a week, but not sure if we can swing that with work & stuff..... you can't go wrong with disney!
