That is one of the things I need to look into. I love itbut if it costs $$$$$ then I will just use the plain one offered by most limos.

Sorry to jump in on the '07 board-I think I remember reading that they cost 150-200, depending on the size of the aisle. If you do a search it will give you some ideas...

Please feel to jump in anytime. I think this one was brought on ebay for about 90 dollars. If you check www.madebye.com her prices vary.

Re: Is anyone going to do the personal aisle runner?
my hall provides an aisle runner... but personally I think it's a waste of money. The only time I thought about getting an aisle runner was when we were planning on having our ceremony outside on grass, so that if the ground was soft I'd have something non-muddy to walk on. But I don't think I would have paid for something fancy and personalized like that...
But I also ended up spending WAY more than I expected to on the hall, so I'm trying really hard not to toss money around on completely unnecessary things, and a personalized aisle runner definitely falls into that category for me.

I agree. It is a waste of money. The only way to save it, is not to have people walk on it. You know that's not going to happen, so just us the on that the limo company has.

Re: Is anyone going to do the personal aisle runner?
Here's an 05ers take on it. We had one. We did it ourselves. We too did not think it was necessary nor smart to spend that kind of money on something you will walk on. We literally made ours for $5. It came out beautiful. It took time and patience, but was a huge hit. Not only were the guests impressed by it, but so was our officiant, Father Tom McCormick that it became a part of our ceremony - because we as a couple came together to take the time to create it together. It was so beautiful that he took the time to notice and talk about it. It made it so special. So..$5...worth a million.
Here's pics of ours and our ceremony where you can see Father Tom talking about it.

I will def. be doing one.... I think it adds a special touch..... I wonder if you let your bridal party walk on it before you( ) walks down the aisle.

Mine was $110 from madebye.com for 100 ft runner with personalized monogram. I love it and do not feel that it was a waste of money. Could I have done it myself? Most definately. Do I have the patience to work full time, go to grad school and custom make an aisle runner??? Absolutley not!!! Worth the $$$ IMHO.

i swear i'm not trying to be mean or anything---just giving an opinion--but for my personal tastes, i just don't like personalized aisle runners. i dunno what it is...just think it's one of those things that winds up being a bit over the top. but to each their own!!
