wow that's so pretty! how did you manage that for only $5?
The aisle runner itself was given to use by my MIL - she lived in an apt owned by a limo driver. The paints (Acrylic 99 cents each) were all we pd for. We already had the brushes.

Mine was $110 from madebye.com for 100 ft runner with personalized monogram. I love it and do not feel that it was a waste of money. Could I have done it myself? Most definately. Do I have the patience to work full time, go to grad school and custom make an aisle runner??? Absolutley not!!! Worth the $$$ IMHO.
... I hear ya....
I agree...I wouldn't either, but we weren't going to grad school and didn't have the extra money to spend since every penny into the wedding was our own. If we were going to grad school too...we would have done the same.

I love them! I am planning on trying to make a monogram one for our wedding. Our theme is monogram so that's one way to tie it in. I don't think they are over the top. Every wedding I've seen with one was classy and had gorgeous pics with runner.

since I only want the monogram. I may have it cut and framed and hang it somewhere in the apartment.

They are pretty, but my church doesn't allow us to have a runner because the floor is slippery.

Re: Is anyone going to do the personal aisle runner?
I'm doing it since I'm getting married in the hall, I wanted something a little 'over the top' I dont think I would of used it in a church because you already have that special atmosphere but in a hall sometimes you need a little help and I think this will do it. I'm paying 120.00 for 75 ft Ivory. I think Ivory is more money for some reason.

I love the idea, but we are on such a budget, that it's highly unlikely we can afford one. Beautiful though!!
