is anyone good at writing poetry

Im trying to write the explanation for my table words but i stink at it....please help

this is what I have so far

Instead of boring numbers
On your card you’ll find
The table that your seated
Is the word of the night
Translated into different tongues

Some people choose to put their
Trust in so many foolish things
Like the stock market, or lotto
To reach the golden ring

But the thing we trust in
Is stronger than them all
For when you hold on to it
You never ever fall

So translate your foreign phrase
(That is if you are able)
And let these words of love
Guide you to your table
