Re: is anyone having a full mass?
thanks!!!!
when i was going through everything that has to be done it seemed like it might end up longer (since it's pretty much a mass plus everything that's done for the sacrament) and i didnt know if i had to adjust our schedules.

Re: is anyone having a full mass?
the Mass should run about an hour. It really depends on how many people receive Communion. If you have a full church and everyone receives it'll take longer than if you have a small crowd you know?

Re: is anyone having a full mass?
We are having a full mass. We were told an hour give or take. I have been to several full mass weddings and they are usually between an hour and 1 hr 15 min (not including the receiving line!)

We're having a full mass and estimate 1 hour. We haven't gone over the ceremony, readings, etc. yet- but probably 3....

I'm having a full mass too with all 4 readings, I was told give or take an hour. I just have simply no idea which readings to use

I am having full mass and 3 readings as well. All in all it SHOULD take about an hour, but they also say that if you have a receiving line or greet all of your guests as they leave then it runs more like an hour and 20min. Then there is always pictures to think about (which may be why u are asking?) and you KNOW that some people will just try and chat your ear off, of course at totally the wrong time so maybe an hour and a half in total with all the pomp and circumstance?

yeah i was trying to figure out when we would leave the church to do our portraits...and see if we could make it back for ch. i figured 1 hour for the actual ceremony and have about 30 min scheduled for after the mass for a receiving line and random pictures at the church etc. sounds like it should be okay. im going to ask the priest about communion and if there will be other ppl there to help out just in case.

Re: is anyone having a full mass?
Hey Irene, We had a full mass that started at 1pm and ended a little after 2pm. With the receiving line and pictures at the altar we were in the car by 3:15. We got to Oheka by 4:30 and still have enough daylight to take pictures outside and make it to cocktail hour. I would say to take Lina with you in your car, she knows Sasha (well now she does…lol) she can sit in the front. As soon as we got there we ran outside. I couldn’t take pictures with our whole bridal party outside b/c there were just too many (27!!!) and it would have taken to long. So all the pics outside are of just me and DH. We got plenty of shots with the BP in the bridal suite, on the steps and in the library. HTH!!

Re: is anyone having a full mass?
it'll be about an hour, but depending on how many people attend, and receive communion, it could be upwards of an hour and 15 mins. I'm estimating an hour and a half. better safe than sorry!

Re: is anyone having a full mass?
We're just having the ceremony at the church with all three readings. the basic difference is communion. Our deacon told us it should take no more than 45 mins, so an hour for the full mass is about right.
