Re: Is anyone having doves........
I think that sounds like a really special way to honor your loved ones that have passed. Maybe check under vendors to see if they have it on here.

Re: Is anyone having doves........
How about a memorial plaque or vase or something at the wedding so that all the guests can honor the memory of your lost family members...

Re: Is anyone having doves........
You may not be able to do it...the doves need a certain amount of daylight to get home and since your ceremony starts at 3pm in Feb there might not be enough timeJust thought I'd let you know that's a possibility

I can't .... FMIL is AFRAID of birds! LMAO! Every time she makes me mad I tell FH that we are going to get an ice sculpture in the shape of a bird for her table!

I wanted to do this. My FH said that the doves never return you are just letting them go lol is that true or is he messing with me lolP.S. $450 seems like a lot to let some birds out of a cage.

Haha its not true...they are trained to fly back to their home. Its $450 because the doves belong to someone and had to be trained to return to them so you're paying for the time they spent doing that.
Its still a lot of money IMO

Re: Is anyone having doves........
That does sound really pretty, but there's probably a lot of practical considerations. Do they get back home? Do they poop all over the place?I am personally terrified of birds, so I would never consider this- but if you're a bird person, it sounds cute.
