Is anyone having or been to a shower in Manhattan?

I went to a shower at the Ritz Carlton in Battery Park. It was in a room overlooking the river...absolutely beautiful. The food was good also. It was a Sunday Brunch.

I have been to two in the city. One was at the Boathouse in Central Park and the other was City Crab. Both were very nice.

Also my engagement party was in the city, as will my rehearsal dinner.
E-party = St. Bart's Cafe (fabulous)
Rehearsal = 11 Madison

I went to a RD at Sambuca...it's on the upper west in the 70's but I can't remember the exact address.

My best friend's sister's shower was at the Metropolitan Cafe on 3rd Ave in the 50's...she said it was sooo cute!

I went to a shower a few years back at Joshua Tree....it's actually a bar type restaurant, but on weekend afternoons they have parties in the back. It's on 3rd Ave in the 30's.
