I was wondering when some of you teacher brides are getting married. Are most of you having summer weddings? I know its easier in the summer b/c its just more practical for honeymoon etc, but Im a nut about heat and humidity and all the problems that come along w/ that.
Thoughts??

my FH is a teacher (elementary), and we are either getting married summer of 06, or President's week vacation in Feb 07.

same here.. i teach reading in garden city and FH is the baseball coach for st johns university.. so fall and spring are out - we're getting married with enough time to go away before school starts in the fall

I teach first grade in Brooklyn. I am getting married the Friday (a week) before our winter vacation. I will probably be docked some of the pay but I couldn't offered a summer wedding so I am going with the attitude you gotta do what ya gotta do. This way also gives us a longer honeymoon.
