Just curious.

I want to, but I am not going to. It's kind of been an issue but it's something that is important to him and Ill want to have the same name as my kids one day.

I'm changing it for that reason. We'll be starting our own family and I want us all to have the same last name.

it seems to be a trend now to keep the maiden name and hyphen with new name, but to me its a gift to my FH to take his last name and his only...

im a little bummed that i'm the last one in my family with my last name, but i am excited to take his name. it will be easier to pronounce! and yes, when we have kids, it will be that much easier.

I'm taking FH's last name. I never thought of keeping my last name or hyphenating it. I'm going from a 11 letter last name to a 5 letter one and it will be so much easier to pronounce...lol

I will be taking FHs last name too. I wanted to keep mine because I have a short cute last name and his is very ethnic so to speak, but the issue wasn't really up for discussion lol.

I'll be taking FH last name too. I'm just glad fmil kept her maiden name and gave it to fh otherwise my new last name would have been Gross...literally

I am taking fh last name...My Initial won't change though since our last names both start with M

Legally I am hyphenating. No way I am dropping my last name lol Especially since my dad only had daughters. Its something special to me to keep it. But I will still be just Mrs. xxx socially.

I'm changing mine - I'm nontraditional in a lot of ways, but I am old school when it comes to that. Plus, I like that I'm going to a Polish last name, since it will actually reflect a bigger part of my nationalities (my last name now is German and I'm only a tiny bit German lol).

i think i will be changing it, but professionally i will be keeping my last name.

I will be taking his last name. My name is difficult to pronounce and his is wayyyy easier. I'm excited to take his name :)

I took his last name. My first name is 9 letters to begin with lol Plus I want the same last name as my daughter.
