Re: Is anyone not

i'm not for at least a month. We are planning on going to Italy. My stepdaughter stays with us until the first week of August- so we were to leave right after she goes home, however, I think August is a bad moth to go to Italy so we are probably postponing until Septmeber! Can anyone beat 2 months!!!???

Re: Is anyone not

We're the week before Thanksgiving so we're just having a short one. Saturday to a Wednesday. Then at some point we'll do something big for ourselves later on. I just want to be able to go away for a few days. I'm going to need it after all this planning!!

I think it is fine. We are leaving a few days later. My FH family is flying in from Israel for the wedding, so we want to spend some time with them after the wedding.

We waited a few days also.. Its good because it gives you time to take care of things.. Some out of town guest may still be in, you can go to the bank, return tuxes, drop your dress off to get dry cleaned, relax and soak in the fact that you are married!

Re: Is anyone not

We are getting married Palm Sunday. Our cruise departs only on Saturdays, but the week after our wedding is Easter. We don't celebrate it, but the price is higher becasue of it. By waiting one more week, we are saving something like $300 each. We will take the first 2 days off after the wedding just to be with our families, being that Monday night starts Passover. But there's no law that says the honeymoon MUST be right after the wedding.
