Doing a hotel block? My mom didnt get it when i explained it and I just kinda put it on a back burner now I'm thinking if i shouldve??!!

I dont think it can hurt to do one...they dont cost you anything. you may have a few OOT guests looking for a place to stay or even a few friends/family that dont want to drive late or want to drink and not worry about driving home.

It's good to have one set up just in case guests would like to stay. Some in town guests may even want to stay at the hotel. Just make sure you find a hotel that isn't going to charge you to hold the rooms or that charges you if rooms you blocked are not booked.
