I have contemplated not doing flower centerpieces. Just wondering if anyone else is not doing it as well. They are just so damn expensive and they die so quick!!!!!!!!

Yeah I hear you. Florists charge so much for them. I used the flowers provided by my hall so I didn't have to pay for my centerpieces. But if that were not an option, I probably would have done candles or something... I've seen this done & it can look really beautiful.

I'm not too crazy about these giant flower centerpieces that I see a lot of. I'm thinking branches with some flowers and candles or something like this:

well...if I had a RH booked (which I dont) I dont know if I would do them.
I know people take CPs home with them, but I think I would just go with fake ones. Whos really gonna notice anyway? I know at my wedding everyone's going to be 3 sheets to the wind to even notice!
i am not doing flowers either - too expensive and not worth it to me

i may not use flower cp's im thinking about candles, but my wedding is in the afternoon, so does that negate the purpose of candles?

I don't plan to do flowers. I may use what the catering hall has and add to that with candles or something creative. I just can't see spending all that money on flowers. It's just crazy. I'd rather spend it on the honeymoon.

I'm not sure about your overall look - but feathers and/or branches seem to pretty pretty popular alternatives.

I'm not doing flowers either!!!! Here are some CP's that I've been finding...maybe they will give you an idea too!
I don't want to do flowers either!! I love the tall willow branches with candles hanging from them and all around on the tables! I love the glow candles give to a room!! So I am thinking something like this......
I know my date is very far away...I doubt that I am doing flowers for my centerpieces. We are getting married in Jan so I think I am going to do branches with crystals hanging from them...I cant see spending all that money on flowers that are going to die..

i am just doing bo-ks, corsages and bouts... we are renting candelabras from the RH for the centerpieces
