Is anyone not spending Thanksgiving with FH???

Im not. He is going with his family to Jersey/Philly and Im staying with my family in Queens. I think I may be working on Fri, thats why I didnt go but its my last Thanks with my fam before I get married so thats another reason why I didnt go

Fh's family goes upstate but he's coming over my house for thanksgiving. The fact that i do work friday made it easy for us to decide who we spend thanksgiving with bc staying by me is alot easier than driving upstate...hes coming by my house today and will just sleep over so its perfect bc neither of us have to do any traveling tomorrow except from the bedroom to the living room lol.

Do you always do thanksgiving separate?

the first year we weren't together but after that he would come over late. this is our first holiday where we will be together all day
i'm excited

Honestly, I wish I was spending it with my family... I'm honestly a little sad. I'm happy to be with FH and his family but I must admit, I was teary last night. Also, we just found out my mom was diagnosed with diabetes and all i really want to do is go home and help her cook and be a total watchdog over what she eats....

yeah I didnt want to be stuck in traffic if I went with him.

We always spend Thanksgiving together. I remember one year, when we first started going out, we didnt but the party is always at my house but this year its at my uncles house, they moved to a new house so my ENTIRE family is going there. I kinda have to go.

im so sad.. .my FH will be working... it really stinks

WELL JUST think that next year you'll definitely spend it together

and last night we were talking and he said that one year we have to go upstate and i said how about we have it next year and then FH said YES were definitely doing that, so WOW its crazy to think i'll host it next year

this might be the last thankgiving my mom is having so fh and his parents are coming to my moms!

we're having lunch with his family in queens and then dinner with my family in nj

i can't wait..i love my family so much!!

its the only holiday this year that I will be spending with him bc he has to work on all the other ones ....it makes me cry when i think about it

This year we're spending it with my family :) Well, some of my family (grandparents, brother, aunt/uncle cousins, etc) at one of my aunt's sister's houses by woodbury commons. We're excited b/c she has a beautiful house and there's probably going to be 20+ people and she's a wonderful cook!!! YUM...

We alternate holdiays though- so xmas is at FH parent's house in Commack....

I never spend Thanksgiving w/ FH. It's hunting season. It doesn't bother me now---but he'll have 2 come home for Thanksgiving when we have kids.

I'm gonna be with DH's family for Thanksgiving. I cant remember the last time I was home for Thanksgiving. I live in Wisconsin and the family lives in south Florida. This is always a really hard time of the year for me because I'm extremely close to my family, and DH and his family aren't as close. So the holidays don't have that same feeling that I grew up with. I miss my family so much!
