I was going to wear my grandmothers pearls, but now I'm rethinking the whole thing. My dress is strapless with a sweetheart neckline, beadwork on the top, my hair will be down, and the veil has pearls and rhinestones on it. I think that a necklace will be too much with all of the above.

i had one and it broke as soon as i tried to put it on me - so my dad fixed it and it kept turning so i threw it off me. didn't need to stress out over it nad honestly no one missed it.
i think if you have too much going on you might spoil your dress.

I am totally NOT wearing a necklace because for some reason when I wear earings AND a necklace it looks like too much on me - don't ask why, it's just me. Other people look normal. I also think if I wear a hairclip or something in my hair it will really make me look odd.
You must do what makes you feel most comfy though.
PS My dress is strapless too and I'm skipping the necklace if it makes you feel better.

I'm pretty sure I won't be. my dress has got alot of pearl/ crystal details and so does my veil and i have a pearl and crystal hair comb so i think thats enough...I may just wear earrings.

I am not wearing a necklace. My dress has alot of beading so i think it will be too much. Instead i will wear a bracelet and big earrings

No necklace for me either. I'm wearing chandelier earrings and my dress has lace/beading at the top so a necklace would be too much.

I don't think I will be wearing one, the top of my dress is very glitzy I think a necklace might not go well with the dress
