i want to lose soem weight before the wedding, so i'm here for some ideas...... but it seems like this is a WW board! is it?

you girls are sweet, BUT i really DO need to shed a few pounds. around my tummy and thighs. not toooo much, but at least a few. And some toning.

anyone know of a good workout video?
i heard Power Yoga with Ron Yee is good..... i havent bought it yet

i hate workout videos, but I like the NYC ballet workout (I used to do ballet) and I also like to play DDR..that's a really good workout!

I'm not on WW... and I also don't think you need to loose any weight, but if you want to tone yoga would probably work great. Or pick up a few free weights and try one of those worrkouts in self or shape or something

no! I am definitly NOT on weight watchers. But I believe it is a good way to loos weight.

My story is that I am a fitness freak, so I enjoy giving advice on exercise and weight training. I highly recomend cardio and resistance training for loosing inches and pounds.

...and get to a gym if you are serious about loosing weight. It is all about changing your lifestyle! Just doing a video every other day isn't going to do all that much.

That is just from my experience.

I'm not on WW either. I'm like Snowboardgirl - I'm a fitness enthusiast and love helping people out.
Doing workout videos is fine but you have to have a few good ones and alternate them. Collage Video has reviews of workout videos (people who have done the video will write reviews). Eventually your body will get used to the workout.
I occasionally do a workout video but I do most of my training in the gym.

I am not on WW, but I know people who are and they swear by it. I just need a good workout that I will follow. My problem is motivation. I need someone to workout with. I need to start Monday with no excuses.

Not on ww either, but I also, have no motivation, I think I am a few pounds away from being toned, but I can't get there. I need to be dedicated.

im the same way, no motivation!!!

a few years ago i did a pretty good workout video, by Cher!!!!

it was pretty good, but i want something alittle more updated....

i would join a gym, but i can not reallly afford the ones by me at this point in wedding planning and everything.

thanks everyone for the good ideas though....
