Are you getting ready at the RH? I think if you do 10:30-4:30 or 10:00-4:00 you will be perfect!!! You will be able to get of the important stuff in, no problem. The photog can get plenty of pre-ceremony photos of you getting ready, and get everything at the reception. I def wouldn't worry!

We're doing 6 hours also! I am starting an hour before our ceremony and ending after cake cutting. It's perfect for us. I want to get a lot more daytime shots (and I don't want to miss cocktail hour) so we will do this before the ceremony. And I am fine with the photographer leaving a half hour before the end of the wedding. Once cake cutting is over, I don't see the point in them hanging around for more dancing photos.
