See... that's the thing... My dress is really plain (for lack of a better word) and I'm wearing simple drop pearl earrings. My veil is super detailed, but it's catherdral and I'm only wearing it for the ceremony.

I wore a small comb on the side of my head. I dont think you have to wear one. You can always add little embellishments like flowers or little crystal pins here and there.

One of the prettiest brides I've ever seen didn't have a headpiece and looked stunning!

I am only wearing a veil - no headpiece. I am putting crystal hairpins in my bun to give it some pop and sparkle.

sometimes simple is best...i'm sure you will be beautiful...don't wear one just because you think you have to, wear it because you want to!

Re: Is anyone (or did anyone) NOT wear a headpiece?
I didn't, I'm not a tiara girl at all, and headbands just didn't work for me. I wore a pretty comb but it was in the back of my head so you couldn't even see it from the front.

Re: Is anyone (or did anyone) NOT wear a headpiece?
When I tried on my dress the salesperson put a tiara on my head and to my surprise it looked amazing... I would not allow my mom to spend $150 on it though. I found a similar head band for $35 and may buy it this weekend...undecided.

I wasnt originally planning on a tiara- I didnt think I liked them either- but then the sales lady stuck one on me & I liked it. But I dont think its weird that you dont want one- your day, your way

I tried on dozens of them...from $20 up to $800 and I never felt quite like me.
I decided on using a flower instead. The florist is making me two flowers with moisture just in case I need to switch it later in the night.

No head piece for me - not a fan. I did wear a veil for the ceremony but thats it. I felt my hair was pretty busy and combs, etc arent me.
