Is anyone planning their own bridal shower?

I was just wondering if anyone else is doing it. I pretty much am paying for the place and stuff and they can cover all the other expenses.

i actually like knowing what everyone is doing and getting all the details I want to be incorporated.

I told my BP that I hope I wasnt being too bridezilla-ish but they said it makes their life easier.

I am paying for my invites and decorations but can't foot the bill for the rest of the stuff. But i do know where it is . Also i helped my mom narrow down the places lol..I also picked my theme lol

i picked the place and date, but mom is footing the bill... shes handling the cp's, invites, etc... the girls are handling the games, giveaways etc

I am ghost planning it LMFAO basically I picked the theme, location, games, decor, invites menu etc and my MOH is executing everything. I am also likely paying the deposit on the place. We are going to look at 2 potential locations this weekend so wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

None of my BM's know I am this active, My MOH blind CC's me in the group emails...I feel like a spy!

omgggg my girls talk amongst themselves.. it seems like be super secretive... lol but i told my cousin what games i hate so that she wouldnt do em... i said it would piss me off and she hopefully will respect my wishes lol

I'm not planning it. But I am very involved.
My MOH showed me the favor before she started. She also discussed the theme with me beforehand. I helped pick the invitations.
I just don't like big surprises so it worked out better for me this way.

I am asked my opinions on stuff and know the date but everyone else is doing the running around and paying for everything. it's kind of fun though cause since it's a couples shower, the boys are really trying their best to keep up with the girls.. you have to see some of the emails FH send me that they guys forward to him.. they're CLUELESS!! lol

Do you have to have a theme? I mean, I'm getting married Halloween...but you can't send out fallish shower invites in July - it can be any kind of theme?

i am involved because my girls are really busy...I do like to be in charge and help plan things so it worked out....they are paying for everything and my mama

yup! we are having a 'jack and jill' shower... men and women so we are having a bbq in my parent's backyard... we are going to have it catered etc...

My theme is chinese latin fusion...The restaurant will be latin but the decorations and everything with be chinese

I offered help, but they refused. I will probably still end up helping in the end. I'm usually the planner when it comes to all these things.
It will be a nice surprise though.

I pretty much told my mom the theme I really would like and she doing the rest I mean she found the place and told me becuase I had to know but I wont go see it or anything like that and I know the date and time.....I am helpigng with the searching for invtes mom not good with comp...But she and some friends are doind the rest...I just dnt have time to plan that with the wedding
