Is anyone really emotional??

I have 5 1/2 months to go and I feel like I cry all the time!! Seriously, at night I just get really weapy alot. I picked out the song the bridal party is walking to and its so pretty that I cry and when I hear the song my dad and I are going to dance to... I cry more... But anything will just set me off. How am I going to get through the next few months?? Thank goodness my FI understands (or thinks he does) and laughs. He just lets me cry and vent and worry and cry more, all on his shoulder... WHEN WILL IT END?? Sorry, just needed to vent and find out if I am the only sappy one here.

HEY THERE...5 1/2 MONTHS LEFT HERE ALSO!!! AND I'M JUST THE SAME!!! I JUST DISREGARDED IT TO OTHER STRESS AS WELL AS WEDDING STRESS!!! MY OFFICE IS RELOCATING, SO I AM GOING THRU THE EMOTIONAL JUNK OF LOSING MY WORK FRIENDS THAN I ALSO HAVE TO LOOK FOR A JOB IN A HORRIBLE JOB MARKET!!! EVERY SLOW SONG I HEAR I'M CRYING MY EYES OUT!

This is too wacked, I am the same way also!!.I was looking at wedding vows, and doing the song list,well forget it, I just start crying. But the one that really did it was last week ,I was watching 'A Wedding Story' and the bride cried getting her hair and nails done, the rehearsal, getting dressed, seeing her father for the 1st time on their way to the church and so on. It reminded me of myself. I don't know how I'm going to get through it!! October is my month!!!

I have 10 months to go. I have been emotional all week thinking about going with my mom on Thursday to try on dresses.I know we will both be in tears. Well bring on the kleenex (and the wine) because I guess the next ten months will be lots of tears.

Thank you all!! I actually feel so much better. While FI's job went bankrupt a month ago (what great timing), he found another one 30k less, and HATES it!! Then we had to replace both cars.. I am so worried where the money is coming from, feel bad he hates his job etc.. But Sept 30, ITS ALL OVER. Hate to say it but I almost cant wait.. I am so glad to see you are going through the tears with me.. Really makes me feel so much more normal! I know I will be crying the WHOLE wedding day!

I have been watching the wedding story on TLC for 6 years!! It is one of my favorite shows, so what did I do after I got engaged? I signed up to be on it! All you have to do is go to www.tlc.com then click wedding story into the search section. I only get to watch it now if I have off, but I have seen almost every one. It is a great place to get ideas.

I'm not sure yet, it takes a while to hear back from them. I also don't know if my story is 'exciting' enough for them. If you watch the show, you know the couple always has some special thing about how they met, what they have been through, or some other tradgedy in their life. I hope we do get the opportunity to be featured on the show, but no big deal if we don't.Thanks for your interest, if we get picked, this site will be one of the firsts to hear about it(since I feel like I've shared most of my wedding details here already).

I signed up as well last summer and now my wedding is in 2 months so i guess we werent picked. Its true, you muse have a somewhat fairy tale story. I like it for ideas though as well. Definitely get the tissues out!!!

There have been several LI brides on a Wedding Story. I have seen weddings at The Woodbury Jewish Center, Coral House,at the LI Horse Show in the Hamptons, Jericho Terrace, Windows on the Lake in Lake Ronkonkoma and some others that I cannot remember. I worked nights for a long time so I got to watch them during the day. I hope it works out for you Heather. It is always interesting to see places and people you know on TV.
