I am registered at Macy's and Williams-Sonoma but we thought we might also register at Fortunoff for bedding and bath stuff. Is that too many places?

I think 3 places are just fine. I registered 3 places - Fortunoff's, Macy's and local store.

I registered at the same three places, Macys, Fortunoffs, and Williams-Sonoma. I didn't register for alot of stuff on Williams-Sonoma though, just a few specialty baking things I wanted.
I don't think 3 is too many, it gives people a couple of choices.

Re: Is anyone registered @ 3 places?
Thanks everyone. I have been having so many problems with Macy's so I figured I would move some stuff over to Fortunoff. I wanted to leave somethings on Macy's because my family does not really travel into Nassau County. I can't wait to go now!! Yah

Re: Is anyone registered @ 3 places?
We registered at Fortunoff's and Linens and Things, but we're also going to do Home Depot. Lots of people pick three places, I just wouldn't go to 4.

We did two, but are thinking of adding one more. I think it is fine and gives people more choices!

Re: Is anyone registered @ 3 places?
i think is 3 is about right if you pick different types of stores
from what i've seen, putting together a registry online is hard. We plan to go to the store with the scan gun and do it that way. (i hope it's quicker)

4 is not wrong...if they are different types of places... most of the larger stores, carry simliar items... and i didn't know this process was time consumeing...

I also did 3 places there is nothing wrong with that it gives people the option to pick where they want to buy your presents anyway!! go for it!!

We are registered at Fortunoff, William Sonoma, and we started one at Crate and Barrel. I say the more places you are registered, the better for the guests!

Re: Is anyone registered @ 3 places?
We have three so far
Fortunoff Williams-Sonoma (like Wendypoo said, for specialty baking and cooking stuff) Pottery Barn
I think we are going to add Bed Bath and Beyond for real traditional household items.
I told my mom to put different registry cards in the shower invites so not everyone gets the same ones. She knows most of the guests and what stores are near them and where they shop, so she can use her discretion.

Re: Is anyone registered @ 3 places?
So far we have TARGET and FORTUNOFF. I have thought about adding a third, but I don't think i will. I have bought so much stuff out of excitement, that we hardly need anything lol When my brother got married they did Fortunoff's, TARGET & Pottery Barn. It's a good idea! Go for it!
