Is anyone self-employed?

I know that I can't work in the corporate world for too long, it's not in my blood. I hope to start a business within the next couple years (once i narrow down what i'm doing ) .. is anyone else self employed or on their way there? just curious

I am not and don't want to be. I think its a tremendous responsibility, and if there is nobody else whom you trust working with you, you can be stuck having no vacation time.

I enjoy it just for that reason. I love working for myself, by myself. I dont have to answer to anyone. I dont have to act a certain way or dress a certain way or go by the rules of the company...I make my own rules, and I make my own hours.
