Is anyone the opposite political party from their spouse?

My DH was so mad at me when I told him who I voted for last night! And he said he is not going to tell my FIL who I voted for bc my FIL will disown me! Then he said (joking) if the person I voted for wins, he is divorcing me

I used to be a registered democrat but only because I wanted to be able to vote aganist Hillary in the Primary while I was in NY as soon as I left Ny I registered Republican.

Yeah, we're opposites. He was annoyed with my vote and threatened to 'call off the wedding' if the person I voted for won (joking of course). But we're really different and frequently get into heated discussions. I try not to say a word around his family though b/c they are very adamant about their opinions.

WOw.. i thought we were the only ones that were complete opposites...

We both see each others points and we have expressed them very calmly... It gets the juices flowing in the house... I actually look forward to a nice adult conversation....

But of course when I gave him the good news,
the little 6 year old inside of me came out...
complete with the pointing and the childish banter...
