I heard someone say that if you are a person who wakes up looking forward to there job that you are the minority. Just curious as to if people really love going to work everyday...

I doubt I will be. I'm graduating from law school in May. I think the only way I'll be truly happy is if I start my own business.

I agree. I am a special education/elementary education teacher and love my job! I might never make big money but at the end of the day it's worth it!
Ditto... although my class this year is tough and made some days really ,really hard. But overall, I love what I do, I love my school and district and I couldn't ask for better colleagues... I am definitely lucky in that regard.

I have the best job in the world-I groom dogs and cats. I get to play with animals all day and even though I have nutty days-I couldn't ask for a better job. Making an animal feel better is wonderful and having them trust you is even more wonderful. I'm also a nursing student and the same premise applies here. I think that both of these jobs are the best (for me at least) and look forward to go to work everyday. Never listen to someone when they say they are unhappy about their job-their negative fellings will start to rub off on you. If you go into work, or anything in life with excitement and promise, you will always stay positive and not let negativity into your life._I sound like a Hallmark card.-Damn

I'd rather stick hot forks in my eyes then go to my job everyday. The job has a purpose but the people I work with are the pits!!

My job is 'okay'...it's gotten worse since my boss changed last summer though. BUT...the good news is that I have been 'recruited' to another department for a director that I absolutely LOVE and it's a great increase in salary...so I'm looking forward to the move!!

i dont love waking up at 520 in the morning.. BUT i do love my job - elementary reading teacher.. the kids are too damn cute..
