Is anyone truly happy at there job?

I heard someone say that if you are a person who wakes up looking forward to there job that you are the minority. Just curious as to if people really love going to work everyday...

I love going to work every day, some people tell me I am crazy, I work with autistic children, but I love it. It is the most rewarding job. I go home beat at the end of the day but wouldn't change it if I had all the money in the world!!

I agree. I am a special education/elementary education teacher and love my job! I might never make big money but at the end of the day it's worth it!

I'd rather stick hot forks in my eyes then go to my job everyday. The job has a purpose but the people I work with are the pits!!

I was for the first year and a half.... now in year three, no longer. I got a promotion that I wanted SOOO much that made me hate my job... UGH!!

I have heard alot of teachers say they are happy at there job. I am not unhappy at my job but I still would rather be home then be at work. I never feel like I can't wait to go to work.

I worked in admin in big corps for 10 years & then decided to go back to school for my Masters in Teaching. It was the best decision I ever made. Granted I work in Catholic school & make peanuts, but I truly do love my job (although some days I want to bang my head against the wall, but overall I love it)

i absolutely love my job and i never in my life thought that i would have a job i would be satisfied with... i was the type that switched every year or so b/c i was never truly happy (miserable at most of them in fact)...

one day i just got lucky and i look forward EVERY day to going, never have a problem getting up in the morning and i love being there... there are only about 12 people in my office and i can honestly say that i adore each and every one of them and we have a GREAT time every day.

by far the best is my boss Dan-- he is the most giving, caring and decent guy that i've probably ever known and extremely down to earth and genuine for someone so successful. i'm very lucky and i never take it for granted what i have b/c i've come from such terrible jobs before. i'm so glad that i never settled and stayed at a job i hated b/c then i would have never found this job!!

i really hope that everyone can one day find a job like mine that they really love going to everyday because no one should have to live life like that!

Well said, when i am at work I always ask someone to poke my eyes out or open the door and hit me so i can go home
Although, I do love most of the people I work with, since I have been there for 8 years, I have made so many amazing friends that make my stressful job bearable.

I am a teacher in not the greatest of school districts in CT and although I have many friends at my job and there are some great kids and parents, I can't honestly say that I am truly happy at my job...this makes me sad too!

I am really happy at my job.

I really like the work I do, I love the people I work with, the company treats us really well and I make awesome money.
My last job was horrible because ***** was my boss, so I really appreciate this one so much more.

i laugh only b/c i've had 4 jobs in the past 5 yrs since graduating. I am in the same acctg field, but just at different companies.....just trying to find that right fun place....if that's such a thing....id ont know what i wanna do with my life....i hear mega is $200 million

btw what happend with the crescent and your boss' daughter?

I love my job. I really enjoy going to work each day but I think it might change when I have children. I think I'm going to want to stay home with them instead.
