We all know anything labeled 'wedding' is double the price. So is anyone using bridesmaid dresses (or otherwise) that they found at a non-bridal store (like Macy's)?
Please share what you bought, and where you got it :)

Re: is anyone using non-bridesmaid dresses?
Yup!
My bridesmaids are wearing black and they fell in love with a BCBG dress (pics in my album). Although i wouldn't say it was cheaper -- it retails for $400 but using employee discounts my BMs spent $250 each. The plus is that they will definately wear the dress again but the downside is that they are holding onto the BM dress until Oct. 2010

I just told my 3 BMs to get different tea-length black dresses w/ chiffon material...though they all have diff. dresses, they all happened to be purchased at White House Black Market. I couldn't be happier!

I am just having my 2 sisters and was thinking about going to Lord and Taylor and just buying something off the rack. I think the more dresses you need to buy, the more difficult it will be to find enough dresses in the right sizes.

Yes, I agree - they're very nice dresses :) I like that they'll wear them again in the future :)

I hope to! Jcrew has great options although kinda expensive when not on sale. Neiman Marcus & Nordstrom both have great options!
