Is anyone using uniondale marriot for wedding night? or Has anyone used uniondale marriott?
We went there yesterday. We liked rooms but felt they were expensive ( a bit). They were charging 269 for a junior suite and 325 for an executive suite. Honeymoon package included in both. I know Garden City Hotel is even more money but we wanted somewhere not far from our hall and the marriott is the closest. Please tell me if this sounds expensive or if I am nuts. Keep in mind, we are planning honeymoon in Hawaii.

For a suite, I don't think that's expensive at all. That is such a nice hotel, too!

JMO but what time are you getting back to the room? Do you really need a suite for one night? I think its expensive.

WOW!! that's great!! Our presidential suite was 1200 bucks!!Thank god we didn't pay that! haha
Are you blocking out rooms there as well? if you are, they will usually cut you a deal, sometimes even not charging you! =)

nora 10/10 It will be after 1:00AM probably. I like the idea of the honeymoon package. Perhaps just a regular room would be a better idea. Marcellabella- The price is definitely different than yours but we are in a quandry.

I've never been - but there's a Wingate Inn that is on Stewart Ave in the Garden City/Uniondale area - it's pretty new - you should see what they can do!

Go to the Wingate Inn , Garden city, not too far from marriot. it was so nice.

We have a block there as well as we are staying there the night of and the night after our wedding. We blocked off regular rooms though and we're hoping maybe they'll upgrade us b/c we're having alot of people stay there. The hotel is gorgeous though.

We booked a block of rooms there, and we're planning on staying there, but probably in a regular room - unless they upgrade us

We are staying there - But because we reserved blocks of rooms for our guests we are getting s king suite for the same price our guests are paying.
