My Bridal Shower is NOT a surprise... because I have heard some nightmare stories... FMIL thinks I am crazy.... AM I???

I picked the date and since I was adament about having my shower in a house I helped find an appropriate house to have it at. Other than that I have no clue. I love suprises so since I had to know the date due to it being two days prior to the wedding my girls are being super secretive! love them!

Apparently it was planned to be in May, then my mom got very critically ill...she was in the hosp for 6 weeks and is now in a rehab...I asked for my shower to be postponed as long as possible so that she would have a chance to be there. So now it's June 24th. I don't care that it is not a surprise! I don't think my mom will be able to go, though...

Hi date twin! My mom is sick as well so there was no way she could travel to new work from alaska twice. So we had to have it the thursday before the wedding. My biggest dear is that her doctor tells her she can't fly!

mine is not a surprise. my family wanted it to be but i told them FH cant manage our lives and would def make plans for that day not realizing it since he wouldnt be able to mark it down anywhere. so they told me the date...June 11
And it is a good thing they did bc they hadnt worked on invites or anything so two weeks ago i designed them myself...they are all in the mail and the rsvps have begun

Our showers are the same day!
So to answer the OP's question...Yes I know when my shower is!

mine's not - i'm not sure if i would have liked a surprise... and it's really hard to keep surprise from me.

My BMs couldn't pick a date, so they asked me... I know date 6-26-11 and location!

My bridal shower is June 18th... I love that they are all around the same time! They are almost here!! Does anyone look at their registries to see what they are getting?? I almost feel like it's cheating... but I can't help myself!

Mine is actually tomorrow and was supposed to be a suprise (as per my Mom who soo wanted it to be) but she ended up spilling the beans, no one else said a thing though!!

But I don't know anythign that is going on, just that its tomorrow and I have to be ready to leave at 12:15~!

Mine isn't. A surprise is always nice, but a lot goes into it, and sometimes you spend months keeping it a secret just to have the bride-to-be figure out what's going on just as she walks into the party.

nope not a surpise in fact im planning the whole thing with mom, we made the centerpieces, the favors just came today and we ordered the invitations last night. im a control freak i hate surprises i gotta be in the loop or i lose my mind

mine was a complete surprise and everything was amazing! The only part that wasn't a surprise was the fact that I wanted it at my mom's house because I didn't want her spending money renting a hall or having it at a restaurant.

I also prepared ahead of time buying a dress early and leaving my whole outfit at her house so that when the shower day came I could change after I arrived,

Mine is definitely not a suprise. I'm a bit of a control freak plus I love to plan parties. I'm having way to much fun finding all of these great ideas that go with the theme for my shower.

Mine isn't a suprise because I am driving down to FL in July, and since that's where my family and friends are i'ts going to be when I'm down there. I'm prefectly ok with that!
