My FSIL is getting married this dec and my future inlaws talked her into getting married here in ny instead of where she lives. So FH and I said we help look around since we are planing our wedding and we felt we could be a help.
So if your wedding is about 35-50 ppl what hall did you and FH pick?

The swan club in Roslyn
The swan club has a fantastic room that is able to accomodate a smaller sized wedding. I think it maxes out at 70 people, but can fit 30 very nicely.

THe metropolitan Club .... It's a part the the Metropolitan....It's got anice NYC lounge style in the middle of long island see pix ... i am getting married there in AUG 2006.. the food is great..
There is a smaller room upstairs at Lombardis on the Sound. I had my college graduation there. Its beautiuful and yummy.

We're having ours at 21 Main in Sayville. Their upstairs room is for about 35 to 40. You have to guarantee fifty for the downstairs. The food is great and it's very classy inside and out. They don't mention the brunch package, which is what we got so if she's interested in a daytime wedding have her ask about that. It's much cheaper than their usual menu and it's alot of food.
I went to a bridal shower at 21 Main, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and the service was very efficient and friendly...

My friend's friend had a small wedding (prob. between 35-50) and they had it at the Stewart Manor Country Club (I think it is called).
