I started looking at china patterns that I like. The only ones that caught my eye were from Vera Wang adn they were $30/glass. Is that outrageous?????
Please advise!!!!

Re: Is China too Expensive???
it depends on if you like it enough and think its worth it. you can always register and if know whys it for you then you can use the completion discount and buy some yourself. sometimes close relatives will buy some pieces of china even though they are pricey

Re: Is China too Expensive???
I registered for Vera Wang China and thought it was very reasonable in price
I have my stemware (not Vera Wang) which was 80 per glass so 30 is pretty good!

If you love the china and you plan on using it, then no, it is not too expensive. If it is going to sit in your breakfront or in your basement for 10 years before you use it the first time, then YES it is.
Registering is really the only opportunity for many people to have something expensive that they don't have to pay for. Enjoy this opportunity and get what you want. You don't pick things on your registry based on other people's finances. You pick according to your persona taste.

I registered for Vera Wang China and Stemware also. I love it and I don't care that I didn't get it all at my shower (maybe it was too expensive?) I still plan to complete it myself!
