I bought 48 Pairs in Total As Such:
(6) Size 10
(7) Size 9
(10) Size 8
(7) Size 7
(7) Size 6
(7) Size 5

Mine are ready to go! I bought slippers that were one size fits all. The total for everything involved was under $75.

not doing it, ive never taken my shoes off at a wedding, i actually have never seen anyone take shoes off, although i am sure it does happen..it is a cute idea...i just dont think it is worth it,and if someone doesnt get one...OOO i wouldnt hear the end of it!

Girls - in your expert opinion how many pairs would you get for a guest list of about 250 (so I guess about 125 women)

we actually had this at a sorority formal almost 10 years ago. it's relatively common in the south/mid-atlantic--not a 'new' thing at all.

i'm not sure if i'm doing it or not. it's extra money that we don't really have, but i may get a few pairs for the BP and close family. not sure though...will continue to think about it. i definitely have time!

I am doing it too. My mom is sooooo happy about it! I haven't started looking yet for the slippers. I figure I have time.
