i really don't want to do it, but i feel like if i just do a tie it will look not dressy enough.
We did a custom vest for DH. The fabric of his vest matches my bouquet wrap.
We are doing a vest....i've seen pictures of weddings where the guys only wear ties and it still looks nice. the tuxes really dress up the guys to begin with
we're having tan suits so def no vests... esp in the summer... the guys will be sweating with that much clothes on!!!
The GM's are wearing a vest. FH is unecided if he wants to wear his. It is a really nice Lauren tux and personally I agree with FH that it looks better without it. It all depends on the look you want and of course the comfort level.
We didn't want the GM to have the vest match the ties since they were a clover green, so we used black vests which were barely noticable. We were going more for a suit look anyway. DH wore a white tie and white vest and it looked great in my opinion.
