i think theres really only alot of baby talk on the pregnancy/parenting boards. on MFR- it doesnt seem like too many conversations come up about that though

I'm on both ... it's just like here; you have to take the plunge and just start posting and it'll get more comfortable. We talk more about life stuff - news, family, vacations, etc ... it's more 'chatty' with tons of different topics than just focused mainly on one thing (like here was).

I am mostly on LIF, but sometimes I like to help brides to be here on LIW.
I dont think of LIF as 'the other side', a place to 'graduate' to, or a place to move onto, etc.
LIF was only created in May 2005. So if those who got married before that that still wanted to chat with their friends had to stay here, they had no choice.
Some people leave LIW and dont go to LIF at all. LIW is a wedding board - and LIF is not. They are 2 totally different things.

I moslty only go on LIF now because that's where everyone I usually 'talk' to is. As for all the baby talk, maybe on the preggo board and the parenting board, but not on NFR
