Is FH helping out since you've become a wedding planner?

I am thrilled to say that FH finally realized that I might be a little overwhelmed with the whole wedding planning + LIFE that he finally stepped in and is learning to do the laundry This is huge in my house since I really take care of that stuff! I am soooo happy . Between FT work, a second job, going to the gym, cooking, cleaning, planning a wedding...hummmm what else...not having to do the laundry now makes me almost want to cry!

He's been great with the wedding planning but this is like an added bonus!!!

So what's your FH doing to help out??

glad to hear he is pitiching in- I was actually fortuante because in the beginning he made all the major phone calls (i wasnt able to especially being new at my job when we got engaged) it was nice to know he made most of the appointments i actually felt guilty because I wish I was able to do that

he cooks :)

The phone calls can get time consuming, they all add up. I started now writing a list on the fridge of the things we need to straighten out for the wedding and phone calls we have to make and he has taken 1/2 of that list to deal with!

I started planning early and did one thing per week. I didn't feel too overwhelmed. He basically told me whatever I wanted. So now everything's done. (except last min stuff)

But FH does the Laundry and when i cook he does the dishes!!
It's actually been a stress free planning for me.
Oh and we are buying a house on top of everything.

Nothing specific but he's just been more helpful in general instead of just coming home and parking his @ss on the couch in front of the TV.

It has more to do with when I ask him to do things.....normally he'll wait to do it...or try to get away with not doing at all, but he knows now that with only a few weeks to go my stress level is through the roof, so I only need to ask him once and it gets done immediately.

He has been there every step of the way..AS he states it is his day too.....The only appt that I am goign to by myself is for the flowers..He is not that picky about that...He just does not want pink ones...

Hahah this was my exact situation until finally he realized i was about to lose it! Now instead of also parking on the couch and taking a nap till I get home he is cleaning the house, last night I got home and he was cleaning out his closets...i had to smile on the inside it was great!
