Unfortunately he wants to help pick them out. I don't know why, we can't agree on anything, plus I've pretty much made all the decisions on everything else!

I think a lot of guys don't like this part, and don't participate. Mine really couldn't get interested in it, and it would have taken too much education on my part to have him be much help. But if he wants to help out, go for it. Involve him in any way he wants to be involved.

My FH is totally picky and wants to be a part of the decision- troubel is we are total opposites. he wants a v. modern and geometric style and i want color but script and romantic style

Our agreement throughout this process is that I can do whatever I want unless he HATES it! (Plus, he deals with all the music issues.) So, things were going along smoothly until I fell in love with an invite and he HATED it! As per our agreement, I couldn't get it. I like the one we compromised on but I still dream about the other.
