Nah, do whatever makes you happy. If you are concerned about having too much too soon, then make it a smaller party.

I got in march of o6 and had my e-party in Aug. SO the moral of the story is do what you make you guys happy

Yeah I think its too late. For one thing, I think guests will feel overwhelmed with gift buying. You are looking at 3 gifts in like 7 months, thats kind of asking for alot.
i kind of agree on this one. Usually e-parties are a few months after you get engaged.

My two BM's just threw me a surprise engagment party I suppose if you do it soon....But I would keep in mind the gift/burden question for the family.

im not sure either Fh & I are still considering having one...we got engaged in late October and we might have one in March or early April

an engagement part is supposed to be a few months after you're engaged
an engagement part, bridal shower, and wedding all under 8 months would seem very greedy to many people, including myself
