Just need to VENT!! Here it goes....back in June I got a text from my college friend that she was engaged!! ( Didn't know she had a boyfriend, really hard to keep in touch with, my other friend didnt know either that a boyfriend existed!)

Then my friend and I get a text that we are in the bridal party and the wedding date is DECEMBER 22, 2007! YES ladies 3 days before X-mas of this year! ( With such short notice I should've known that I was in for a ride)

Went to get bridesmaid dress in July, the color she picked out hot fuscia for a X-MAS wedding?! Haven't heard from her or anything since July.
Still waiting for an invitation and bridal shower was just decided to be done for sat Nov 17. And that's a complete DISASTER!!! B/C her MOH is of no help!!

Well is right for my friend and I to feel used? Woould it be wrong if we do not go to her bacherolette party? My friend and I are just FED up with this wedding and can not wait for it to be OVER!!!!

Just say financially it would be impossible to go to the party... that is crazy.. why is she so last minute with everything. She isnt really taking you guys into consideration with all these last minute decisions. And FUSCIA????

EEEK, fuscia?? well, I think that you should do what you can, but don't bend over backwards for this girl. you have your own wedding to worry about and you don't need to be dishing out a ton of money for her. Besides, it sounds like this girl doesn't have it all together at all!

I don't think fuschia is that bad, I mean I would have picked an obnoxious electric blue if nice dresses came in that color but to my bridesmaids relief they do not.

I do think it's insane to be doing everything so last minute. It can certainly be done, but you have to be way more organized!!!

I would be so mad! You were so dissconnected with this friend that you didnt even know she had a boyfriend then all of a sudden you are her bridesmaid. Now you did your part got a dress and now you know nothing about anything.

I dont think I would go I would just be so mad and not to mention spend more money.
